• 1989-1993 Higher Scientific Officer Research into costs of road accidents, distribution of injury and other road safety related social science based projects.
• since 1993 Senior Scientific Officer at the Road Safety Division, Dept. of Transport Research Programme Manager with responsibility for the technical and financial management of existing projects and research programme development in the following areas of road safety: developmental psychology of children, education, pedestrian and cycle training, attitudes/publicity on other ad hoc social research issues related to road safety. Also take policy responsibility for road safety education and liaise with other Government Departments, road safety professionals voluntary and commercial organisations.
