  • 1969 Ph.D. at Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest

Professional activities

  • 1962-71 Clinical psychologist’s work with mental disease patients
  • 1971-89 Traffic safety research at the Institute for Transport Sciences, Budapest.
  • since 1989 Traffic safety research at the Department of Traffic Planning and Engineering, Lund Institute of Technology, Sweden.

  • psychological factors influencing driving aptitude
  • road user’s behaviour, behavioural characteristics of different road user groups
